Family Spotlight

Being a member at NJAC has more benefits than just a health club; it can be a place for the whole family. The Nadkarni Family is a testament to how NJAC has positively impacted their family.

“The decisions we make in our lives shape our lives and I have to say joining NJAC for us was one of the best decisions we made for ourselves and our 5 year old son! Life became healthier and easier! Instead of having to drive our son to multiple locations for classes, it is such a pleasure now to just have all classes in one location. He enjoys his classes (soccer, ninja warrior, etc with amazing instructors) while we get to work out so it absolutely works great.

Not only are the kids classes fun, but I have to mention the kids club. Each and every one of the staff members running the kids classes and the kids club are so compassionate and dedicated to all the children that it's amazing as a parent for us to watch!

I have to mention private swim classes too. Melissa is my son's swim teacher; one of the best he has had! I can't say enough about how great her teaching skills are! My son loves her and looks forward to swimming which he never liked to do before.

All in all I feel NJAC has greatly contributed to our lives and we highly recommend it to everyone especially if you have kids.”   -Madhura Nadkarni, NJAC Family Member

TRAINING

TIP OF THE MONTH – Increase your cardio workouts to increase fat loss. One of the best workouts for weight loss is cardiovascular training. It is recommended to achieve 3-4 days of 20-60 mins of cardiovascular training per week. Next time you hit the cardio floor check out our Expresso Bikes. It’s a fun virtual ride with a HD screen and over 40 courses or tours ranging from 1 mile to 20 miles on one of the most advanced exercise bikes available. Ask a trainer to help set you up.

Parisi Speed School – Here at NJAC we are excited to announce that with the warm weather coming we are another step closer to our Grand opening of the Parisi Speed School. The Parisi classes have been filling up fast.  So if you haven’t gotten your athlete in to get them assessed, you should do so as soon as possible so the Parisi trainer can place them in a class that will be most beneficial for your athlete. Weather your athlete is in season or out of season, it is in your son or daughters best interest to stay involved with the program so they can build off their current sport and some of the mechanics they might be missing on the field. Also keep in mind that Parisi is huge on self-esteem and confidence off the field, and our Parisi staff is here to help with that.

Pilates Reformer – Try a FREE reformer session on us. Contact Carol Robinson at crobinson@njac.com or contact Jenny Stover jstover@njac.com for additional information.
